When Paul Oakenfold was preparing for his support slot on Madonna's 2008 'Sticky & Sweet' tour, he realised that a substantial and distinctive performance platform would be needed to stand out in the huge stadium venues that the tour would visit. He called his colleague Nick McGeachin who, in turn, approached Litestructures, the UK-based trussing and staging specialists, and asked them to custom design and build a DJ booth suitable for these massive gigs. Litestructures accepted the challenge and came up with an impressive modular DJ console featuring a large illuminated 'Paul Oakenfold' laser-cut sign and mounting brackets for two 50" plasma screens.
