Review Toplite Merlin C40 Music Reviews Pixie Lott Title: Turn It Up Release Date: Monday 7th of June 2010 Label: Mercury Pixie Lott's fifth single is ‘Turn It Up’, the title track of her debut album. Despite kicking off her pop career with two Number 1 singles, more recent efforts have peaked lower in the charts. ‘Turn it Up’ has got a happy, bubbly chorus, but a more sedate verse, and allows Pixie to really show off her vocal talents. The track sounds similar to The Saturdays and Natasha Bedingfield. All in all, ‘Turn It Up’ is a fairly inoffensive piece of pop music – a great mid-tempo track for the summer.
