A few years ago Bolton comedian Peter Kay took to the road on his 'My Mum wants a bungalow' tour, the most successful stand up show ever. Over 100,000 people watched the live sell out tour which featured an exceptionally funny, but highly damming, sketch on mobile DJs. Peter's observations of the 'old school' mobile DJs and situations found at functions was very astute and provoked belly laughs all over the country. Over Easter I managed to sit down and watch the Peter Kay DVD (a very rare moment!) and this lead me to think about the characters we meet on a day to day basis and how at every gig we pigeon hole and stereotype the people we meet. The more I got to think about it I realised the same characters appear at every gig. Here follows a not very P.C. and definitely tongue-in-cheek take on the people we meet on our travels . . . in this issue meet the workers.
