Consequently, you cannot expect to earn a King's ransom from Local FM. I also explained that the smaller stations look toward employing jocks as staff, as opposed to on a freelance basis, simply because it makes more economical sense to ask a jock to multitask rather than just come in, do a show and go home. Review Equinox Effects Contribute To Pro Mobile The aim of Pro Mobile is a magazine for mobile DJs, written by mobile DJs. If you've just bought a new piece of kit and fancy writing a review to let everyone else know how it performs let us know. Lights, mixers, amps, smoke machines, CD players or anything else that may be of interest to other mobile DJs. Alternatively you may have some advice to give, if so, write us an article, best way to set up a sound system, light rig, or how to get bookings. If possible please send any pictures that you think are applicable to your article (especially for reviews). Every issue Pro Mobile will have a featured roadshow. This will be an in depth look at one of the many roadshows running in the British Isles. If you think that your show has something that others don't (is it the biggest around, do you do a special kind of show noone else does? etc), then we want to hear from you. Send us photos of your rig, both before a gig and pictures while in action and a few paragraphs on what makes your show special.
