This review is going to be a little different to those normally published in Pro Mobile. Instead of a technical look at the speakers in question, which are a collaboration between Yamaha and touring PA brand Nexo, I’m going to give you a brief background into the speakers I have used over the years and explain how I came to purchase these particular models. Before I go any further I want to make it clear that I’m certainly not a technology boffin, so I won’t be going into big tech details. Instead I want to let you know about the equipment journey I have travelled in the DJ industry over the last 15 years and explain why this journey ended with the Yamaha DXR12s and DXS15.
